MIT Technology Review has launched a podcast series which will focus on topics that are important to enterprise decision makers. The podcast is called The Business Lab. It features a 30-minute conversation with a sponsor partner and a custom content director from MIT Technology Review. The Business Lab will focus on technology topics that matter to enterprise decision makers, and will be hosted by Laurel Ruma, MIT Technology Review's custom content director in the United States.
Machines are what we trust
In Machines We Trust podcast is about automation in our world. Automation is everywhere and artificial intelligence is at its core. They base their decisions on huge amounts of data. From dynamic pricing online to "reading” job applications before human eyes, they make intelligent decisions. This fascinating topic should be on everyone's mind.

Susie Armstrong
This podcast includes many topics related to artificial intelligence (AI). Susie Armstrong, the SVP of engineering at Qualcomm, discusses the state of AI and women in the field. She also discusses how women in the technology industry can help improve society by breaking down stereotypes and embracing the power of diversity.
The Turing test of MIT Technology Review
Turing is a popular test that tests how intelligent computers are. However, it can be challenging to execute correctly. An interrogator will ask questions to the test subject. The test takes places in separate rooms. There is no physical contact between them. The test subjects' responses are evaluated to determine if they can differentiate between human and non-human responses. If one question is answered differently by a machine than it is by a human, the Turing test may be failed.
Also, the Turing test is controversial. Some critics say that the Turing Test does not measure high-intelligent behavior. For a machine to pass this test it must appear as intelligent a human. Also, the machine should not seem too intelligent. If it solves computational problems that are difficult for a human to do, it will be disqualified from passing this test.

Qualcomm SVP of Engineering
Susie Armstrong from Qualcomm, SVP of Engineering, appeared on a podcast. She spoke about the importance of diversity and women in technology. She also spoke about her career path, including rising from a student intern at Qualcomm to a senior executive at Microsoft. She discussed how leadership plays an essential role in driving workplace equity. The show also examined the role and challenges of women in STEM fields.
